These events aim to familiarize parents with the academic enhancement programs and exciting activities at their local Clubs. Club staff will exhibit programs, give Club tours, and put on family-friendly games, showing the Boys & Girls Club culture of combining education and fun to help young people grow their desire to learn.

These events are supported by Health Net. Throughout the year, Health Net collaborates with community-based organizations, local providers, and government agencies across California to provide health care solutions in underserved communities — all as part of their mission to transform the health of the community, one person at a time. Health Net’s donation will help provide refreshments, entertainment, and school supplies for all kids in attendance.

"Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias is an outstanding resource and advocate for the wellbeing of kids and families in Tulare County. Health Net is invested in helping give every person the chance to reach their full health potential and proudly supports BGCS so that they may continue their impactful work in the community,” said Brian Ternan, President and CEO of Health Net.
